  13. Flying Perfect is a screen saver where various objects
  14. fly over the screen in different styles.  It allows users
  15. to import their own BMP files as flying objects. Don't forget to setup your own
  16. background sound in its setup screen - a FREE sound package, soundbk.zip, is available
  17. in Mark's home page: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/mark_qian
  18. You can also get it from WINAV, WUGNET, and WINGAM in Compuserver.
  19. It also inlcudes some COOL utility 
  20. functions such as MessagePad (which allows your visitors leave
  21. you Text, Voice, Picture, and even Movie), Task Scheduler
  22. (which allows you launch executable files at the time you specify),
  23. and a cuckoo clock which sing at each hour.

  29. This is a shareware.  That means: TRY before BUY.  You should

  42. A COOL shareware, Savervisor is included. Savervisor is a Screen
  43. Saver and Wall Paper Manager. It provides a lot of VERY COOL 
  44. functions:

  46.   - It appears as an icon that allows you launch a screen saver
  47.     instantly by a single click of RIGHT mouse button.
  48.  
  49.  - It can be run in a INVISIBLE mode. With this great feature,
  50.     you can just put it into Windows Startup group in Program 
  51.     Manager and forget it: It will take care all the management 
  52.     tasks while you never realize it is working for you!

  54.   - It allows you specify the sensitive areas where you can click
  55.     the RIGHT mouse button to launch a saver instantly.

  57.   - It provide saver (and wallpaper) scheduling capability.  That is, 
  58.     it allows you specify what saver(wallpaper) to be activate at a 
  59.     specified hour through a week.  It also allows you switch savers 
  60.     (wallpaper)through all the savers(BMP files) in your Windows 
  61.     directory and specify switchng period.

  65. NOTE: Savervisor is an independent shareware which requires a
  66. different registration.  That is, you have to register each of
  67. them separately. Registration of any of them will NOT cover the
  68. other.

  75. A). What will be installed by setup.exe?

  77.  The SETUP.EXE will copy five files into your windows directory:

  121. C). How to install?

  123.  "Step By Step" instructions for installation:
  124.  
  125.     1). VBRUN300.DLL(if you don't have one in your system);
  126.       
  127.       You can download VBRUN300.dll from following place:
  128.  
  129.         In compuserve, GO WINAV and search its library for
  130.         file named vbrun3.zip
  131.  
  132.         In WWW, http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/mark_qian
  133.  
  134.         In Internet, ftp://ftp.coast.net/SimTel/win3/dll
  135.  
  136.         In America Online, Go to software library and search for
  137.         file named vbrun300.exe.
  138.  
  139.         After downloading and unziping it, you need to move it
  140.         into Windows system directry, c:\windows\system.
  141.  
  142.   2). Copy fp.zip into a temporary directory, say c:\tmp;
  143.   3). Unzip fp within c:\tmp using pkunzip.exe;
  144.   4). Run c:\tmp\setup.exe from File Manager(double click at the
  145. icon of
  146.       c:\tmp\setup.exe);
  147.   5). If this package includes a utility, Savervisor, you will be
  148. asked to
  149.       key in the directory where Savervisor will be installed.
  150. You need to
  151.       either key in you own directory or use the default one. If
  152. the 
  153.       package does not include Savervisor, you will not see the
  154. dialog.
  155.   6). The setup program will then ask you choose from one of
  156. following
  157.          a). Run the saver now;
  158.          b). Setup the saver now;
  159.          c). Exit to Windows now;
  160.        You need to choose one of them.
  161.     Note: if you choose (click at) the first choice, "Run the
  162. saver now",
  163.           please don't move or click your mouse after click at
  164. the choice.
  165.           Otherwise, you will disable the saver right after you
  166. enable it.

  168.   If you like setup or test the saver that you have installed,
  169. please open
  170.   the Desktop of Windows Control Panel, select the saver from
  171. Screen Saver
  172.   section, and test or setup the saver.
  173.  
  174. D). TroubleShooting:
  175.     -  Q: I have a multimedia system, with .WAV capability, and
  176.           in fact, 
  177.           I hear .WAV files with most every application.  
  178.           Why can I NOT hear sounds with your screen saver?  
  179.           (The Sounds option is grayed out, and I cannot check
  180.            it.)
  181.        A: The Saver disables Sound option if it does not detect a
  182.           sound device that it knows. You can enforce it accepts
  183.           you sound system by following steps:
  184.               1). disable (turn off) the saver;
  185.               2). open (double click at icon of) file            
  186.  
  187.                   c:\windows\fp.ini
  188.                   (assuming c:\windows is your Windows directory)
  189.                    in your windows File Manager;
  190.               3). change 
  191.                       EnforceSoundOn= 0
  192.                   into
  193.                       EnforceSoundOn= 1
  194.               4). save and close the file;       
  195.               5.) bring up the setup screen of the saver;
  196.               6). check (enable) field "Sound On";
  197.               7). click at OK to exit the setup screen of the
  198.                   saver;
  199.       
  200.     Q:  I have downloaded your screen saver recently 
  201.         and I was having a problem with getting it to work
  202. properly.  
  203.         After initializing I get a message "... caused a general 
  204.         protection fault in module VGA.DRV at 0001:0ca2". 
  205.   
  206.     A:  Changed your screen driver in winsetup to SVGA.
  207.

  209. E). How to get more information?

  212. This program is a shareware.  You are welcome to distribute this package
  213. (fp.zip) by any means: copy it to your friends, upload it to your
  214. favorite BBSs or On-line systems.  
  215. However, it is NOT a freeware. You will be able to use(evaluate) it up to 30 
  216. times or 30 days. You then have to register(pay fee to its author) if you still 
  217. want to use it after that.
